Perfect experience – cannot recommend highly enough – our favourite stay in Mexico and good value; we booked an extra night while staying. Jose-Luis is a fantastic, helpful and welcoming host – we felt at home instantly. The boutique cabanas are comfortable and nicely done to suit the vibe. The setting is stunning – garden, pool and lights – you feel like you’re at the edge of the jungle; it is very peaceful. Good breakfast. A car is helpful generally, especially as it is nicer to stay out of the town. From Zensus you can walk to a few good cafes/restaurants, as well as places via which you can access the lake«

I’ve been to Bacalar a couple times and I must say that this was one of the BEST affordable accommodations I have stayed at. The host went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. He lent us a little cooler to keep the beers cold whilst around the pool. When we got in during the wee hours of the morning, he checked up on us to make sure we were okay and even provided us with ice cold water. Surprisingly, as we went down for breakfast, Jose Luis was right there being attentive and courteous. I highly recommend Zensus and will definitely stay over again in the future.«

Increíble hotel, acogedor, cuidan cada detalle de las habitaciones, los anfitriones del hotel son personas tan increíble que te hacen sentir como en casa, se nota el esmero que ha puesto por qué pases unas vacaciones increíbles, el lugar es pequeño lo que lo hace muy familiar, aunque no tiene vista a la laguna cruzando la calle está, puedes pagar un daypass o contratar un tour y te evitas pagar costos estratosféricos en hoteles que si tienen club en la laguna. Los desayunos son muy deliciosos y abundantes. Un lugar increíblemente mágico, voy a volver sin lugar a dudas.«
